My state inspection is due can anyone in the Allen area recommend where I can get my state inspection done ?

Anywhere that does state inspections. It's called a safety inspection only since there's no emissions. It costs $7 only.

I get mine at the SC because 1) they drive Teslas all the time and don't have to be taught how, and 2) there is zero chance they will have a "let's see what this thing can do" moment.

Pull into any garage with the inspection sign, wait two minutes for them to see if all your lights and the horn works, pay the $7, and drive away.

They are supposed to drive it to check the brakes, but don't have to go far.

The first time I had it done, I went to a local Jeep dealership. They didn't want to drive it, so rode in the passenger seat while I did. Of course I had to impress them, so punched it on their test road. He started screaming "there are speed bumps!" Brakes got well tested -- test drive done.

Interesting, that’s exactly the type of moment my sc representive had when i was picking up the car for delivery...

I felt bad for her because she was trying so hard....

It sounds like an opportunity to try out Chill mode and Valet mode, neither of which I've experienced yet.

I take mine to the AutoSpa at Park and Preston. They’re fast and they’ve never been careless with the car (and I can stand there and watch).
