Text messages??

In relation text messages, is this something I need to set up ?
I have had the car since December and use a Samsung S20 but text messages never come through. My old Volvo V90 would alert me to a text message and read it out. I see there is a message screen in the model 3 but not sure how it needs to be set up.

I think if you share phone contacts with the car It will work.

I believe they are already shared as I have favourites set in my contacts

You need to set it in your Bluetooth profile for the car on your phone to show notifications. I know how to do that on an iPhone but presume there’s a equivalent on android. Sync contacts is a different setting.

you also have to select the "sync messages" option in the bluetooth settings in the car

Described around the 8.20 mark (assuming it;s the same for the 3 of course...)

Try deleting Samsung email
