Okay then. That makes (some) sense. Here in Ontario, we have rest stops branded ONroute and they have signs posted about future charging stations. If high power, I'd expect them to go with CHAdeMO for similar reasons.

And today I got mine 
So it's not US specific and I only joined the Tesla cult a few months back. I have done a huge lobby work around here in Estonia and I've recently been in touch with Jerome and regional managers with discussions on the groundwork I've lain and what else can be done to prepare for future expansion here. Could be related to that?
