I just want to record my thanks to Tesla. Yesterday I had lost one of my keys, somewhere at home, and my other key was not functioning (Tesla is sending a man out to sort this) so I was relying on my phone to unlock and drive the car.
On the way home the local farmer was cutting the hedges on my drive so I got out to thank him, leaving the phone inside. Oh no! I got back to the car and it had locked itself with my only means of driving it locked inside. Luckily I was close enough to home to walk and using my wife's phone got hold of Roadside Assistance. I told them the pickle I was in and after asking me a number of questions for security they unlocked the car for me so I was then able to start it with my phone and finish my journey.
I have since found my working key, thank heavens.
Just a reminder if you are using your phone to drive, keep it in your pocket because the car will lock itself if it is left inside.
