So now I'm on to whether or not to get the pre paid service plan, and if so, which one. And whether or not to get the extended warranty. I don't need Ranger service as the Service Center is just a few miles from my home and they will valet a loaner to me. But I am thinking about getting the 4+4 service plan and the extended warranty as well. Is there a conventional wisdom on this?

If you plan on keeping car 8 years might be a good idea. Can skip ranger service as you said.

Congrats.
Another Test Drive, Another Happy soon-to-be-Owner.

You will love your car.

Things change with time, but knowing how long you intend to KEEP the car has a lot to do with providing you a valid answer with the best insight.
You have 30 days after delivery to make the warranty and possibly the extended warranty decision, so you have have time to carefully think it over.
( It is really hard to look into the future 4 years away, much less 8 years away.)
