Got too excited testing the autopilot features since Oct 15th and forgot to upload these videos. Enjoy! I'll be using autopilot on my way back to Seattle within the next 18 hours, there will be more in-depth videos with autopilot showing what works and what doesn't at various situations. Stay tuned!!!

Thanks!

Very interesting. I could see you were very close with your hands to the steering wheel there when trying to change lanes in to the semi! :) I did see a slight swerve and then the car "changed its mind". Very cool.

Also, what a crazy set-up you have. What cameras are those? Are they all going to one central "server" in the car? Did you hook up the system yourself? Is it always there, recording continuously or did you put in some extra cameras for these videos?

Hi Johan, Thanks for the comment! The autopilot is awesome, I used it 100% on highways during my return trip to Seattle. I just did another trip last week from Seattle > Vegas > LA > SF > Seattle as well (more videos below). I currently have 16 cameras setup on my P85D, the additional 8 cameras are dedicated for capturing the autopilot V7 and the insane mode. This 8 camera dash cam is called Furious S8 - FURIOUS SURVEILLANCE FROM 8 ANGLES AT A TIME and will be launching very soon in North America. I’ve installed this system on my own and dozens of different types of vehicle (SUV, 4x4, Trailers, RV, Van, Convertibles, supercars, motorcycle and even go-kart) for friends and family. I’ve the dash cam configured to record continuously 24/7 for both of my Tesla P85+ (Hong Kong) and P85D (USA) with the 4.3 inch display turned on as well. You can read more about it via The 1st 8 Cameras Dash Cam (DVR) installed on a Tesla (thank you cgiGuy).

Discoducky, Thanks for the comment! No worries, I swapped the factory Tesla TMPS out with the Furious S8’s TPMS unit, as the Tesla TPMS doesn’t show which tire is having the low pressure (is fixed now with Version 7 update). I should swap it back soon. More videos are listed below. Enjoy!
