The Mediocrity mission is to manufacture the most mainstream midsized sedan on the road today. Our company is extremely dedicated and passionate about "middle of the road." Each and every day we strive for predictability, unoriginality, and no frills familiarity for your no frills transportation needs. The 2011 Mediocrity will get you from A to B without anybody ever noticing, and that's a Good thing.
These commercials on television play it straight from beginning to end.

I've seen this :30 on TV twice.

When they air on TV there is no clue given as to who it is or even if who is buying the airtime are even selling a car. You have to do a search.

The website is fun too. You can build a car and watch the videos.

Looks like the Coda. Perhaps better than the Coda.

I suppose the mini-grille up front gives a little hint.

More "Generic" sedans:

eh, I think you guys might be reaching here... Why would they attack a company that barely anyone knows about, let alone cares about? I think this was an ad just going at generic cars in general not the Coda.... I think the EV enthusiasts in you are painting that picture :)

I don't think anyone said Subaru was actually attacking Coda. I was being facetious if I implied that. But true, point is the EV enthusiast in me does see the Coda resemblance. And it's a fact that Coda marketing has tried to play up their car's generic looks as an asset.

Has anyone successfully completed the game? After 1 minute, it told me I was doing fairly well. I was thinking of putting a brick on the gas pedal and see what happens... but I ran short of time.

UPDATE: I stopped just seconds short. The commute takes just shy of 2 minutes. Taking the car with cup holders has no appreciable benefit.
