Just got back from my trip where there was a lot of extended periods when I was over 90 mph.

Washed the car today and took the front plate + mount off and no marring that I can see. Looks like it stayed clear of the bumper.

Removal and install takes all of 5 to 10 minutes.

This is a great solution for both temporary use such as road trips and airports as well as permanent use.

One thing I’d change however on future versions is either to use black hardware or see if the plastic license plate screw collars + caps fit.

Installed my Bandit on Friday - absolutely love it so far. Excellent from end to end, including even the shipping materials and instructions. Incredibly easy and intuitive install (aided by design to make it so simple). Highly recommended.

I have had the bandit on my 3 since September. No issues at all and am very happy with it. I allegedly regularly speed very fast and my paint is fine.

Is this the license plate that doesn’t require bolts or screws?

There are 4 included bolts that clamp the internal tabs to support the mount. No drilling to bumper.

I really like this solution, but I'm installing a Euro front plate, which is a smaller format.

Is it possible to just order the bracket and support arms, without the rectangular number plate plate, as I need to source a smaller one locally (in Switzerland) to use.

Euro ver is currently in progress. Needs to be tested & verified transparent with ultrasonic sensors & radar. Tolerances are very tight. Thanks

Still working on it. Much different than US because it's very wide & needs to curve in order to not block the sensors. Will keep update here, thanks!

Plate in Finland is not as wide (442 x 118 mm) as in most EU countries, and I might be using local Tesla club plate holder, so just getting the US thing and tinkering it myself might be a solution. Could you ship to Finland? At this point cost of shipping is not an issue.
