The Battle for the distinction....Last Sig to be delivered

No...haven't heard a peep from Tesla. I have called and e-mailed...but no response.

Still waiting on call/e-mail and my delivery window dates.

Maybe I'll end up getting my car on my birthday....December 6th. I suppose that would be sweet.

When you call does it just go to voicemail and they never respond? I always hear back even if it is a few days later via e-mail but usually much faster than that. I hope they contact you soon.

I actually spoke with one of the Ownership Experience team members. I have only tried calling once many weeks ago. I may give it another try.

Some lower 1200s had VINs assigned, so you should expect something this week. But still try calling them to push it along. They may have gotten those VINs because they were bring proactive about it. Doesn't hurt to make your wheel a little more squeaky ;)

Several people have been not getting word at all and then attempt to call or e-mail their last contact once it is obvious information is quite tardy. Once the customer initiates contact there are occasions where they are not getting a substantive response or no response at all until they try the [email protected] address. Give that address a try and make sure that you have not fallen through the cracks somewhere. I heard that your communication will then be tracked through their system once you use that address.

I think that there might be some troubles in the hand-off from delivery assistants or to finance or delivery specialists. In come cases, a hand-off may not have occurred at all to anyone in the delivery department and the problem was even before the delivery phase. Some have found out quite late that Tesla has been waiting for information from the customer and the customer thought that all their information was submitted well in advance. There has been a few other scenarios that I have learned about but I never got the details on what the hang up was for each of them. One case I learned about was that Tesla was waiting for word on financing but the customer didn't know that Tesla was waiting for information from them. Not all of the hang ups have been due to the same cause.

It would be helpful if Tesla acknowledged the receipt of information from a customer and notified the customer whether it was complete and moving forward to the next phase. It would also be helpful if there was confirmation from your new representative once a hand off takes place and is complete.

Good luck!

Nope, Texas is just being difficult and deliveries there seem to be delayed more than other states. They just finished the 1000th body, so they should be rolling either Canadian Sigs or Rs (depending on if they've gotten approval or not) on to the line this coming week!

There may be some Sigs that take a little longer to be delivered because of logistics issues. But I seriously doubt they're going to hold on to a bunch of ready-to-go Rs and Ps while some delivery truck makes its way across the country and we wait on state paperwork to clear.
