The door handles are also an air vent!!!!!

I had an interesting entrance to my model S this morning.
I pre-heated the car because the outside temp was about 30F, the heater was on when I opened the door and felt a rush of cold air around the door handle.
Both front and rear driver side doors handles had this rush of air (I did not check the other side).
The heater was blowing hard inside the car to warm it up, and I felt the air when the door handles were presented.

Is the Model S so air tight that when the heater draws air in from the outside it has to push it out through the door handles?
I do feel I have more air buffeting than in other cars even when all windows and roof are closed (yes I know about the hatch adjustment), and I also have seen the rear hatch jump a little from the outside when the last door is closed.
