The joy of a road of curves and regen braking

Yesterday my wife and I drove to Canyon Lake. It is a reservoir about 45 miles east of Phoenix, Arizona.

It is such a joy to drive winding and up and down roads without the need to use the brakes!

Other manufacturers really miss the mark with their regen braking.

Mountain driving in a Tesla is a blast. I tell everyone that the ability to slow down without using the brake is one of the cars best features. I am now a huge fan of one pedal driving.

Most weekends I take my boys out for a drive around Lake Travis, here in Austin, and driving those winding roads is a blast! The regen breaking going into the turns with all that power on the pedal coming out of the turns is like nothing else! If you have the M3P and you turn on Track Mode, then you can really feel all the power the car has in those turns, it's absolutely amazing! The regen breaking is not as good in Track Mode, but it's still there, more at higher speeds than at lower speeds. But you can really feel the extra power you get with all the traction control stuff turned off.

It’s nice not having to cook your brakes on the way down.
