The largest National Drive Electric Week event on the east coast.

I would like to invite everyone to join the new Tesla recognized official Maryland Tesla Owners Club. We (Maryland Tesla Owners and Poolesville.Green) are organizing the National Drive Electric Week Poolesville Day Event. And we would love to have Tesla well represented. Last year we had 186 officially registered vehicles and this year we are expecting (with your help) to have well over 200 vehicles.

Each registered driver will get an event T-Shirt, "Swag Bag", a chance to win $250 (through NDEW) and entered to win one of many free drawings (to include an EGO Lawnmower, EGO Trimmer, Bosch Level II Wall Charger (plus more wall chargers), an EGOHitch, and much more). We will have manufactures there and other dealerships. Pepco is bringing one of the new Plug-In hybrid Bucket Trucks. We will have an Electric Transit Bus and so much more. There will be (and you can give) tests ride and drives, that start from a dedicated (closed to public traffic) road for our event.

We partner with the Town of Poolesville for Poolesville Day. The town's main road is closed to vehicle traffic (only foot traffic). The day starts with a parade (to include a few of our selected EVs/PHEVs) and continues with many things to see and do for the whole family. There will be several live bands, food trucks, a climbing wall, petting farm animals, a classic car show, bouncy toys, an outside bar, under a tent (right next to our NDEW show) and more. It brings in as many as 10,000 to 15,000 people.

Please help us introduce Tesla to the general public and have a lot of fun doing it.

Wow, we are doing pretty good with the numbers. over 100 and at #1 (but I am sure Texa and California will catch up). Have you signed up? It's all Free!

Wow, Atlanta GA is cumming up fast (they have 113 signed up and we have 119). But it is really the fun at the event that counts. Poolesville Day is awesome in itself with all of its activities. Bassett's (next to our main tent) will have an outside (under a big tent) bar and live band going well into the evening. The first in the nation Chevy Bolt Police car (and Zero motorcycle) will be there. And I just got in the EGO products that we will be giving away (my car is not included ).

Oh, Nissan (Corp. USA) is bringing a huge display, giving test drives and free stuff, Audi (USA) will be there and Tesla (Local) will be there too. May bring one of their service vehicles as well.
