A very long story in today's G&M on EVs. The story has suprisingly little mention of Teslas, other than some inaccuracies regarding SCs. It focuses more on the incumbent manufacturers and talks more about the Bolt, Leaf, etc.

It's a fairly realistic appraisal of the situation but seems a bit pessimistic.

Tesla appears to have gone a long way to answering that question with its Supercharger system. It says the system needs just one minute to recharge its Model X SUV for a 413-kilometre highway trip and about two minutes for a 100-kilometre stop-and-go commute in the city, which drains the battery faster.

Not worth reading. Very simplistic take on EV's and the myth that they depend on ever more government intervention to succeed. Not even well researched to be honest. I can't believe this was printed in the Globe. It reads like it was written for a small University paper. Tesla's can charge up for a 400km trip in 1 minute? but 100km in the city would take 2 minutes because stop and go drains more battery. They wrote an article for the Globe and don't even know about Regen? Yikes.
