When I go pedal to the metal, my third-party cubby often flies out. Does anyone have a hack to keep the cubby in place?

I see some vendors selling cubbies that lock, but they are pricey and not that attractive.

You could try adding rubber/foam padding using double sided tape..

The Norm Cubby is designed in a way to stay in place:

    Vendor - New Cubby Drawer

There is a ridge on the lower edge of the cubby space. The Norm design uses the ridge to keep the cubby in place instead of relying on friction. It's the only design I know of that works this way. I've had no problems and the fit is perfect on my MX.
