The Costco near my house wants to build a 32-pump gas station on the existing site. Before buying my Tesla, I admit I may have supported this idea but now I find myself strongly against it (surprise, surprise...). The traffic congestion it'll create will be a nightmare and I can't help but think that building a gas station today would be like building a Blockbuster Video in the mid-2000s. In the coming weeks, the city's planning commission will hold a public hearing regarding the project. What ammo/arguments should I bring with me to the hearing in opposition to the project?
