Im not trying to use the same thought process as ICE cars in that the smaller the motor, the easier time it has spinning at higher rpm's. But I don't now everything about electric motors but im trying to figure out why the rimac's motors can only rev to 12,000k rpm but teslas car rev to 18000k rpm. Does it have something to do with max power output? Because I have noticed that higher powered electric motors can't spin as fast as the smaller ones. But something that threw that thought process of was that 918's front motor makes 129 hp and can rev to 16,000k rmp. Is my thought process right its just that the 918's is older tech? The rear motors in the rimac added together can max a 804hp (I think, their website is a little confusing on how they word things, I can't 100% tell if that's both rear motors added together or not) and why can it only rev to 12k when tesla's can rev to 18k?
