Some of us work early, just a little complaining
This is why energy drinks exist, going to be a monster morning tomorrow after staying up to watch the event tonight.
I will be up to watch the unveiling even if my work day starts at 7:00 a.m.
Apple held its Special Event on March 21 at 10AM Pacific for a reason.
after getting up so early to get in line this morning....
I'm struggling now.
might have to catch it all in the morning when it's on youtube...where they can handle the bandwidth
Don't whine, consider poor Europe ;-) I'm traveling over here in India right now at it starts at 9AM at least - just woke up and waiting ;-)
Right there with you, need to wake up at 5:15 - going to be verrrrrry sleepy.
I'm just hoping that Elon Musk doesn't pull another non-apologetic "fashionably" late entrance for the event. I'm pretty sure this will be the first Tesla reveal to start on time.
Yes. After the backlash from the late start for the Model X event, I would be surprised if this starts late. Hopefully they can start this on time, and produce the cars on time....
Considering I was up at 3AM EST to go wait in line, yeah the reveal is late.
First world problems I guess....
Actually a great time to communicate to the world. Much of Europe is up early and can participate (i.e. 6:30AM in Germany) and Asia will dial in afternoon of next day.
It'll be even worse when you consider that it's likely to start anywhere from 30min - 90min late.
Remember that it is a worldwide live event. 8:30pm West coast time is really the best time they can pick to have Europe in very early morning, Asia/Australia in late morning to afternoon, North America East coast in late night and West coast at 8:30pm. Any slide of even 1 hour to either direction will not work with all time zone.
My guess it will only be about 30 minutes long, hopefully it actually starts at 8:30
Elon being on time would be a powerful signal that they intend to also deliver the car on time...
Double up on the coffee tomorrow morning, at least its Friday!
I hope somebody told him that!
Right there with you. Woke up early to reserve in store this morning and have to get up around 6am for work tomorrow. I'm fully expecting the event to start at least 30 - 60 minutes late (in true Tesla fashion).
Agreed, it's late. I'm sandwiched between my sleeping wife and our dog. I'll be watching on my iPad with earbuds on. Just like the X reveal!
I told my business partner and assistant that I'll be in late tomorrow.
I am in the exact same position sans the dog. The cat does take up a lot of space considering her size.
