Yes, that is definitely the one where they should put it. The other one might be a hair closer to I-5, but I think the 164th location is easier to get on and off and it also accesses I-405 better. But most importantly, there are just so many more amenities at the 164th location. I think there is room there on the SE corner of the lot by the gas pumps. This would give us a longer walk to the nicer amenities on the north end of the lot, but that's better than getting ICEd imo.

Both Sydney and Melb are going through huge inner urban redevelopments, its claimed the corridor between the City and Sydney airport will have a higher population density than Singapore by 2030. Melbourne is out growing Sydney.
Yes the dominant type of housing outside 5-10km from the CBD would be described as free-standing. But that has seen a sprawling metropolis form a little smaller than greater LA with about 25% of the pop.
That only makes it harder for the Tesla owners to access the SC here, especially after our 2nd site was shut down 3 weeks ago bringing the number of posts down to 6 from 10.
Well, the new supercharger map certainly has a lot of "coming soon" chargers in the Seattle area! Although it is exciting to see all those future sites, I'd be a lot more impressed with one actual new site between Seattle and Portland. It's getting old having to do a very long charge in Centralia and/or find local charging in Seattle to make a weekend trip from Portland to Seattle.
Looks like a "coming soon" site popped up in Longview, WA. That'll help with roundtrips between Seattle and Portland immensely.
Also, a bunch of planned superchargers in and around downtown Portland. Things are looking good!

selfishly, I'd love to see something around SoDo to make driving up and back for a game in a single day a little easier. Being able to hit up a supercharger while waiting for traffic to clear out before getting back on I-5 would be nice

It can't be too close to SoDo, it'll be crazy crowded on game day. A better suggestion perhaps: A row of J1772s in one or more of the SoDo parking garages, reserved for EVs and paid for by your parking fee, which charges your car while you're watching the game.

Qwest (CenturyLink for those that like to use current names) has I think 2 right inside the entry by the ADA parking and Safeco has 3 or 4 outside the garage along Occidental (that look like you are parking on the sidewalk). I sent emails to both & Peoria (& SD Padres to double cover Peoria) general contact emails about Tesla's destination charger program. Didn't get as much as an acknowledgement response from any.
ETA: there are also some in what is left of the surface lot to the north of Qwest next to the stair going up to the train station. Last time I was there, the apartment construction had them mostly blocked off though.

Will we actually get these superchargers in Seattle and Portland by the end of 2017 or will they be bumped again. There really hasn't been any progress in the PNW other than adding more superchargers to already existing locations.
Bumped again? I don't think they have been on the list before have they? (At least Portland hasn't been.)
And probably only Tesla, the contractor, and/or the landlord would have any idea on the status.
My wording may have been a bit unclear and more due to some prior promises never received (lack of updated browser/camper mode). Anyways... I'm getting used to the over-promising and under delivering. Tesla is still a great company -- but I wish they were a bit more realistic with their promises/promotions.
I saw the The Forks, WA one was bumped from 2017 to 2018 (though it's not Seattle/Portland). I keep monitoring the supercharge.info site and don't really see any activity in the PNW compared to every other area of the US. Granted this is only discovered info but... I just have a feeling that many of these by 2017 one's will end up being by 2018 or later. I guess only time will tell, but I'd be wiling to bet some money on this one.

Unfortunately not, though I don't recall seeing it the last time I looked (about 2 months ago); however, I wasn't specifically looking for it then either.
Well that might explain why the PNW has been a dead zone for new chargers the past 6 months. I've been jealously watching all the new chargers go up in other parts of the country. Hopefully our time will come.
I know, right?! No way they are all popping up by "end of 2017", as it states. But that's just Tesla time... I'm used to it.
Maybe we could take up a collection to steal away the midwest supercharger coordinator. 9 superchargers under construction and 1 in permit in michigan and wisconsin!
When I visit my dad in Michigan. Most of the supercharges are at Meijers locations. I think that family has made generous use of their parking lots. Tesla may have a harder time finding free parking in the PNW.
