Please don't stop waving to each other.
I drive from Newmarket to Toronto everyday and I will wave to other Tesla's as I drive by them and I rarely get a wave back.
M3 and MY owners please keep the wave going.

Ive taken to waving to fellow Tesla owners not knowing if it was a thing or not. I get a waive back most of the time but there aren’t may Teslas here. I came from owning a corvette where owners would hunt you down for not waving and it’s nice to be part of a group like that again.

I love the Tesla wave and community, except of course the "unhappy and grumpy hoity toity drivers" that are too superior to wave at the lowly Model 3 SR+ owners. LOL.

In my area there are many Teslas so I guess waving or nodding is not a thing here. Every time I drive to the nearest major intersection, there are Teslas in at least 2 directions.

During my new ownership of almost 2 weeks, only once I suspect a M3 greeted me by flashing the headlights.

I kinda wish people wouldn’t do that as a greeting.

IMHO flashing lights is either to signal someone to go through with a turn, or to warn about trouble ahead for them.

Yes. Here in my neck of the woods, flashing your high beams at someone means they're heading towards a speed trap or some other police presence.

For fun, when my daughter and I walk by a Tesla, we get close enough for the Sentry Mode to activate, and wave, smile, or make silly faces at the side cameras, to leave a greeting on their dash cam viewer.

i say we take a page from my motorcycle brethren, and adopt a finger style salute, but instead of the peace sign down low to say hey brother, we hold our hand signal up and proud, oh and the hand signal can be the middle finger salute...to say f**ck gas!

or if that offends you we could go all hoity toity and use this.

I don't wave to other Teslas. My arm would be tired in my daily commute as I pass several dozen each day.

But I'm grumpy and I've also stopped waving in my Jeep Wrangler as well, unless the other one is modded, lifted or has a cute girl driving.
