The Tezon – A Volvo Amazon body on a Model S chassi

This is a bit more than 'just' a conversion...

Anyways...

There still doesn't exist one single decent production EV Station wagon on this planet(!) The only ones that do exist are a few custom builds. And once this one is finished there will be one more EV Station wagon unicorn...

The guy doing this project – Tom Zidek – is Canadian. There are four videos on YT this far following the build. I've embedded the fourth one below. Tom speaks english, but there might be some Swedish narration at times...

A Volvo Amazon body on a Tesla Model S chassi. The TeZon started in the head of Tom Zidek, a gearhead with extreme interest of future and sustainable technique development.

Recipe: Volvo Amazon Station Wagon 1968 + Volvo Amazon Coupé 1968 + Tesla Modell S 85D = TeZon 85D

Simply put, the modern technology from the Tesla is mixed with the nearly 60-year-old bodies from the two Volvo Amazons.

“In the 60s, especially the Amazon Kombi was built as a family do everything car. You were able to tow a trailer, fit the whole family and the dogs in, or put skis or surf boards on the roof! With The TeZon, we want to keep this spirit alive and move it into todays world.” – Tom Zidek.
