I am proud to announce that The Tire Rack has been awarded the exclusive rights to sell the new Axis MS 21 x 9" wheel as a direct fit for Model S in your choice of Bright silver, Titanium Gunmetal and Black with a "machined" / brushed aluminum face; Click on each image for a larger picture and more information ! The MS model is hubcentric and accepts the TESLA original equipment wheels' center caps for reference. By using the 9" wide wheel, we can accommodate both the 245/35R21 (rim width range between 8" and 9.5") and the rear axle size 265/35R21 (rim width range between 9" and 10.5") for those that want to maintain the staggered fitment of the Performance Plus model. All three finishes are in stock and ready to go ! Click here to enter your specific model year and get started ! For those interested, we will have a 21x10" version of this wheel in Titanium Gunmetal finish (only) for the rear axle coming late this Fall !
We continue to offer the Rial Lugano in 19x8.5, but that one does not take the OE center cap We do not have any access to a 20" wheel in this style to fit Model S unfortunately
Just a tad over 31lbs on the one I measured at the SC the other day. I think it was an 8.5". Those look JUST LIKE the factory wheels. I wonder who is building wheels for Fremont?
We really haven't been comfortable recommending anything wider than a 265/35R21 for the rear, and that fits on a 9"........
For those interested, we will have a 21x10" version of this wheel in Titanium Gunmetal finish (only) for the rear axle coming late this Fall ! That's what I want!
Are the rims the same for both sides. As in they fan one way on the left side then fan the other way on the right side. (take left rim and put on right it will be the same).
