I got the LEXUS PURSUIT email blast tonight, and I thought the following was quite funny:
Title: The Touch Screen Others Can't Touch
As if the LF-CC coupe concept wasn't revolutionary enough, Lexus has introduced a dramatic new approach to display-screen technology, as well as the manner in which you interact with your car. Almost the entire center console is a fully touch-sensitive screen. No knobs, no dials. Everything is one sleek futuristic screen unlike anything you've ever encountered before.
Link: Magic Touch
I'm sure marketing folks for other car companies will not enjoy Tesla owners replying "welcome to the party" when we've had production vehicles since 2012 similarly outfitted compared with a concept vehicle with rumors of debut in 2015. However, I truly believe that Tesla's use of a large touchscreen is going to hasten other manufacturers to the same idea. It just makes too much sense once you experience it.
