Congratulation to the Plaid owners who chose this valuable OE caliper CCB BBK.
Your order was shipped today, and this pic was taken prior to the order being boxed to share with other members for the real contents of the kit - Including 4 stainless steel brake rotor retaining screws that Tesla forgot to assemble.

Here’s my 2022 Model S Plaid with the 390mm front & rear carbon ceramic brake kit from RacingBrake.com installed. Initial impressions are that the RB carbon ceramic BBK offers a major improvement in stopping power over OEM rotors/pads & after numerous high speed full force brake applications absolutely no fade & best of all, there’s no brake dust on my wheels 😉 Only modification was the rear rotor dust shield will need to trimmed approx 1/4” around the outter edge so it doesn’t contact the 15.5” or 390mm rear rotor. The front rotor dust shield can easily be pushed (by hand) inward slightly to provide ample room for the 32mm wide front carbon ceramic rotors to rotate freely. Very simple install overall. I’d be happy to answer any questions for other Plaid owners that are planning to install this kit in the same manner that I did.

Looks great and glad initial impressions are solid. Can you just leave dust shields off completely? I know some track guys do this to maximize heat escape from the rotors.

Yes you can. Also understand that RB CCB rotors are made of long (continuous) carbon fibers so they are very strong comparee to OE/Brembo's chopped fibers which are fragile that can easily get chipped or break when subject to street derbies, gravels etc., which is more to the common knowledge.

Learn the difference in the rotor materials AND constructions:

FYI - We have discovered that the front dust shield is made for 390mm rotor (vs. 380mm on Plaid now) so no trimming is required. But since the rear dust shields are made to the right size (=rotor size of 365mm) so it needs to be trimmed to fit the larger rotors.

This CCB rotor kit not only can offer you an instant BALANCED BBK for a literately dust free braking but with a visual impact behind the wheels.

It can also dramatically improve the handling and performance improvement, save the wear & tear on tire and other components resulting from the drastic weight reduction while retaining the stock set up in Calipers and Pads - 100% bolt on installation.

Possible but can be tough to find the powder.

This is what we use.

Additional info to this most "talk about" Corvette ZR1 "Front" CCB kit.

The kit has updated with the option to add the rear balanced CCB kit (390x28) for 15% discount (than purchase it separately), plus it could qualify you for an additional $800 bundle bundle kit discount.

Scroll down to description for more information including the side by side comparison of RB kit and competitor's kit - This was prepared in response to some Plaid owners' query about the difference between RB kit vs. other's kit.

Note all data are based on the objective fact and available info published w/o including the expertise, knowledge, and after service capabilities on CCB brakes.

Thanks for sharing the comparison specs... very useful data.
FYI only- you may want to proofread your weblink for typos. ;)

Is the "hat" on the stock size replacement CC rotors the same thickness as the stock rotor? I just ordered wheels with offsets to get me the perfect flush look. Wondering if these are going to mess that all up if I get them. If not the same how many MM thicker or thinner are they? I have installed BBK's on cars before that the aluminum hat was twice as thick as the stock one.

7mm.
Stock rotor: 10mm

Please note the front stock size (380/365mm) CCB kit is no longer offered due to the front rotor hat/hardware can't clear the caliper body.
Only 390/390 BBK is available with rear option for stock size 365mm (fits 19" wheels)

Required components for 420/410 CCB kit are duly completed. In the next two weeks there will be caliper assembly and system test before shipment. For those who pre-ordered the kit their patience are truly appreciated.
