Do you know the VIN number? I asked for some photos a few months ago and what i saw wasn't very encouraging. I believe they destroyed the car as they use a Fork Lift Truck to lift the car with the forks under the battery... Sadly they don't know how to handle the roadster.
Never thought to post here... But, does anyone have the canvas tool pouch that originally came with the Roadster? I lost mine. Thanks, Henry
5YJRE1A31B1001327 is no longer with us. It burnt to the ground: https://www.copart.com/lot/50002470/2011-tesla-roadster-al-mobile?fbclid=IwAR2h_4Hpkjx5AJq_nT2-NxB3mf1SPOzU5mNbnljlczU2TKFxbUKu_HVutA0
Wow I didn't even know there were any roadsters here in Mobile AL. Sadly it looks completely roasted, is there anything about it that would be worth checking in person?
That looks about as far gone as a roadster could get. Like maybe nothing left to salvage from that mess.
Maybe someone thinks the VIN itself has some value and they can slap it on some kit car... Insert "that'll buff out just fine" joke here.
That’s the value they’ve assigned to the car if it wasn’t damaged, not what they think it’s worth now that it’s burnt up.
No, I haven't been trying to figure that out. I suppose in earlier years I would have been pouring over all the Copart listings, but not so much anymore.
Had my Model S towed today for rodent damage and the tow truck driver saw my Roadster. He said they towed a totaled one in white or silver last week. This is in Tucson, AZ. Anybody here know what happened?
