Well Carl was making it seem like all these cars are from Gruber when he said:

So I was simply pointing out that this isn't the "cars Gruber has saved/destroyed" list but simply a wrecked roadster registry they've created which after all is the point of this thread...
You are trying to connect dots that are not there. The point remains the same, Gruber has destroyed between 50 and 60 Tesla Roadsters. Fires, parts cars, etc. We have destroyed zero and rebuilt hundreds. Karma is not his friend, he made dozens of videos calling me a low-tech auto shop.

I still have my shop, he does not. Why? We are competent, careful, and organized. He just burns sh!t up and then blames everyone else.

This is headed to us and will be repaired better than new

I bought this one yesterday, paid too much for what the parts are worth today but over time, pricey parts are better than no parts
Is the ESS recoverable at least? PEM in working order?

Ah, right! This is the one you posted about here on FB back in December – 1 of 3 LGs in for repairs at M&S which is 😲

Currently, 4 LG,'s here smashed up and needing love, one is nearly done. Mine... ;-) 1085, two are still in the insurance negotiations stages and one is in the queue. Last year it was Black cars all here at the same time wrecked up nice. And two orange ones.

Phew, I’m glad you got both, when I saw ‘lot sold’ in the previous message, I thought someone may have bought it to restore without knowing what they are getting into and it would decompose away. Glad it went into the right hands!
I am all over scooping these up to keep the workflow moving in and out of here.

#303 died last week :-( :-(

On my way back from the annual service at Tesla, a driver ran a red light and T-boned me hard, pushing me into a another car in the left lane (a Model S Plaid, and hard enough to roll it over).

All drivers (myself included) walked away, fortunately, but #303 wasn’t so lucky.

Insurance is going to declare her a total loss :-( I hope someone will buy her remains and put them to good use. She has a CAC of 142, a beautiful interior, upgraded brakes, and upgraded LED headlights. I disabled the APS at the impound lot, so hopefully the battery will survive.
