There are still Long Range RWD models available

I live in Texas, so have never really been interested in AWD... but did want the Long Range. Called around and there are quite a few Long Range RWD Model 3s available in inventory.

Personally, I'd rather save the $2,800 (instead of getting the LR AWD version you can order now).

Apologies if this is already common knowledge, but I was under the impression they were out of those after stopping production. Or if they did have some, it would be much more difficult to find.

You can also likely get one in the used market. I traded in my LR RWD back in September and they sent it to an auction lot and it's been sitting there ever since (I still have it on my app). I think they may end up selling it back as Pre-Owned at some point.

If you care about maximum efficiency and range, the LR RWD is the best car Tesla has ever made. If I was in the market, I’d snap one up before they’re gone.

You’re in a warmer area, so the mid-range may work for you. In my area, winter cold kills range, so MR wouldn’t be a realistic option.

At what price is Tesla selling the LR? $2k price drop like all others? So $47k plus options/delivery?

Hmmmm... here's the email I got about a white one with 19" wheels. It looks like they only give a $800 price drop instead of $2k. Weird...

Base: $35,000
+Long Range: $9,000
+Premium Interior: $5,000
+White Paint: $2,000
+19" Wheels: $1,500
Total = $52,500

Minus $2,000 price cut would be $50,500
The price they emailed me is $51,700...

Am I missing something?

Tesla appears to be giving the full $2k price cut, but then add in $1,200 for delivery/doc fee. So that brings it to $51,700 :rolleyes:
