That's a pretty thin cable!

Yes, that "Destination Charger" looks pretty. They have one at the local Porsche dealer here too. But, as you can see from the size of the cable it's a very low amperage charger. It's primary purpose is to recharge their E-Hybrid vehicles which have a 7.2kW internal charger, so I don't think it provides any more power than that.
