Thinking about tint, concerned about visibility

I'm limited to 35% all around and 0% on the windshield. Illinois law
Missouri legal is 35% on the front windows on 0% on the windshield.

Missouri also requires a front plate.

So, do you find the 35% tint in the back too dark? Any issues with the dimming mirrors?
I don’t mind at all. It’s equivalent to the auto dimming mirror. At night headlights are headlights.

Your color is midnight silver? Did you do black decals on the handles off Amazon? Looks great!
Yes, thanks! I ordered the carbon fiber handle wraps from RPM Tesla since they wrap all the way around and the turn signal chrome wrap is also carbon fiber from an Etsy shop - TeslaTats

I think I'm going to go with 50 front, 35 back windows and nothing or 70 on rear.
:eek::eek:...not sure that will look good you should get some samples ..if you get a good tint like photosync or an equivalent ceramic 50% provides good protection and you can make it same all around

Are you saying leaving the rear as is won't look good? Or the 50 front and 35 back?

I would stay same percentage all around ..ie do 50 all around ..a good ceramic tint will provide good rejection ..imo just doesn’t look good with varying shades of tint ;)

I went 35% all around and it doesn't look too dark when driving. I have a baby too and bought some of those additional stick on sunshades that I put on the top of the back glass. Can't even see it when I'm driving but gives the little guy some extra sun protection.

I did 60 all around on mine with 90 on the front. I've been quite happy with it but also I think 50 would be fine. I wanted to maintain where somebody outside my car could easily see me.

Same dilemma. My choices were 35% or 45% (Spectra Photosync). I ended up using 45% on all 6 side windows. Nothing on the windshield or rear glass. I really like the factory glass roof and the rear visibility at night. If I could do it over again the only change I would make is going to 35% on the rear doors and small rear windows and leave the 45% on the front doors.

Colorado Law is 27%. I would like to do 35% on all the side windows. Nothing on the windshield. Where I struggle is the back piece of glass because it is an extension of the roof.

Any visibility issues with 45% front windows and the side view mirrors?

Non at all. I wanted to have good night vision as I drive on some unlit roads (plus older eyes). That’s specifically why I used the 45% on the sides and nothing on the back. Really glad I left the back alone. Here are a Shot of the 45%. Keep in mind it’s Photosync not Xpel so the color/tint look will vary:
