Thinking of installing your own NEMA 1450 socket?

    Hi guys. I was trying to be cheap and install my own wall socket without the help of an electrician... I bought the mega heavy duty wire and socket but my circuit box is too weak to handle the full amperage. I ended up having to use a thinner gauge wire and a different socket.

    My loss is your gain. I have 30ft of 6 gauge 6/3 wire, and a NEMA 14-50 socket. I bought everything for $120, but would like to let these items go for $50. I could even drive them out to you if you're in the LA area. Lemme know.

    If this kind of post breaks some rules, I'll take it down.
