My 75D also has an "E" there, but my State Farm agent (well, some assistant, anyway) had no issues with my saying it was a 75 ...except they didn't have an option to select 75, so she chose 70 as that was the closest. I asked her to add in the notes that I clearly said it's a 75 -- I don't want them denying a claim because I "misrepresented" what I had. She confirmed she did so. I suggested she call underwriting to bring them up-to-date.
She noted that "P" models had substantially higher rates. I gave her a quick rundown on what it all meant, since she clearly had no idea ("Gee... there are a LOT of models!") It's the first Tesla she entered a policy for.
