To be fair, I think people posted those only for the people who waited in line, not everyone who pre-ordered. Still, the expectations are far too high and this is a more than appropriate token of appreciation, in my opinion.

Well Elon himself said yes to the scale Model 3. The rest are just wishful thinking.

I suspect putting limited edition badging on the car would cost less than mailin a decent quality print.

Also a scale model didn't seem outrageous to some guy named Elon Musk.

I ordered in store before online deliveries and before the reveal, in the UK, but there was no queue (line) at my store. Anyone in this situation received a gift, or is really just for people who were actually waiting for a long time?
I know i'd be damn grateful if I received a print rather than moan about it.

I got this in the mail today. (Obligatory long-time lurker, first-time poster comment). So it's cool, but not what some people were expecting. I'm somewhat glad it's not more extravagant. Personally, I'd rather they spent the money on car development anyway.
