Steering wheel: The race car wheel has to go, saw on the first drive video the demo driver got his hands all twisted up making a 90 degree+ turn. Need to be able to go hand over hand.
Yep! and how the heck can we do one-finger waves to each other??
Autopilot.
No contractor would buy something with a 6 1/2 foot bed.agree, this thing is ugly as sin but what a perfect fleet vehicle for companies or contractors. They won’t be able to ignore the amazing specs and low cost to run this thing.

I agreeI really wanted to like the truck (I need another one since I've had my last one for 38 years now), but I'm not sure I can ever see me in this monstrosity. The specs seem impressive, but it's just too ugly to look at. The demonstration on toughness were an embarrassment. Did they not try to dent the Ford truck door ahead of time? Looked pretty tough to me. They the glass breakage on the Tesla truck. How embarrassing. I might find myself heading to a Ford dealership to buy theirs or possibly a Rivian. I had really hoped for more.
Perhaps the ugliest thing on 4 wheels I’ve ever seen.
It looks like they threw this together in a week or two...Edsel comes to mind. Where was Franz von Holzhausen when this truck was being designed? I can't see this displacing F150s and Silverados Rams, Tacomas, etc. as work trucks on construction sites.
I wonder how much Elon's pet project is going to cost Tesla. No way this thing is going to be a commercial success. What an opportunity wasted to stroke a billionaires ego.
