THIS WEEKEND 8/13-15 there is a road race UP Mt Washington. Blake Fuller, record holder at Pikes Peak with a Tesla Model 3 will be driving a Tesla Model S PLAID to set a record at Mt. Washington. Sorry for the short notice. If you are attending, let me know. Here Is the link to the evite. We'll meetup, socialize and see all the cars! Just sent out an evite. If you’d like to meet up with other Tesla Owners at this Race, please respond: evite.me/t2jvMa7WD7

More information here: Spectator Information - Mount Washington Auto Road, Gorham NH

There is typically a helicopter for racers like team Subaru with Travis Pastrana and David Higgins. Haven’t followed closely this year so I’m not sure if they are attending. There are typically a couple custom hill climb EVs as well (UVM ev pictured below). Here are a couple shots from the past, Climb to the Clouds happens every three years.

here's a video of the start of race day's other run (Tesla starts at 13:50), you can hear them turn on the special "chirper" to alert spectators along the course that the Tesla is coming (you can see/hear it in action in the "below treeline" video above):

Why do they have to use something obnoxious? This chirper isn't as bad as the siren that was used by Randy Popst on Pikes Peak. If I were doing a hill climb I'd want to blast Foggy Mountain Breakdown instead.
