Interesting tid bit; I just spoke with tesla chat to get info on my VIN, and they said production on my vehicle started May 01.

I ordered May 02.

Looks like they are just cranking out vehicles and assigning them if they match any orders?

Maybe, or they don't have good records of the production process. I feel either option is just as likely. =)

Dop you have any idea about delivery time for Portugal? I placed an order for a Model X Mid-March

My March order is due for the end of June. I'd expect ours to be shipped on the same boat and have a similar mid-end June delivery date.

Idk, At this point, I’d be ok with a July delivery closer to the 30th. Still get the tax credit and Maybe Tesla will have their insurance ready, just do everything at one time.

My inventory order is supposed to arrive at my Service Center on the 19th. Preliminary delivery date is 5/21. Let's hope, it stays that way.

Update: Vehicle won't be here in time for delivery tomorrow. We are now aiming for next week.

i called delivery support today because my X was supposed to be delivered May 15th. the support guy told me my car has been confined/quarantined which usually means they are fixing a software bug. he still couldn't tell me if the car was refreshed or not but he said most likely it is. so now I'm scheduled for delivery this upcoming Tuesday. grrrrrr

On the bright side, the implication is that the cars are being made and held, so at least it's not that they're having difficulty building them. Hopefully this all clears up in the next few days and the floodgates open.

Exactly. Rather this than something major like they rushed the refresh and are having major problems with the cars. Good news. Would have been better if Tesla had told the reps and they could have told us. Maybe they just didn’t expect them to take this long.
