Time Until Contact after Edit Button Disappears?

Today, I logged into my account and my edit button has disappeared and I am being asked for my financial information. I was advised by some other members not to start applying for financing until I receive contact from Tesla, since most loan rates are only good for 30 days. How long have you guys had to wait after the edit button disappears?

Thanks!

You may want to stop listening to many of the threads here. Sure, if you are looking for the absolute cheapest loan and the rates are changing daily, you want to wait.
But otherwise, I think that it could be helpful to make sure that everything is lined up in advanced, make sure that the loan officers knows and understands what is needed from Tesla.
Of course the Tesla loan rate wasn't too bad and it made the process a lot easier.

I’ve been waiting for almost a week. I was no longer able to edit last Sunday. I’m in the same batch as others with the same build, yet some have delivery dates already, including on my coast! Some get calls right away, others don’t. I also can’t enter loan/trade-in info either. Not sure if that means something is not right with my particular car or what else is going on. o_O

Edit button disappeared today for me too, and is asking for financial information! Phone call to Tesla and it seems no CSRs are available until Monday.

I thought I've read that the delivery advisors have called people on the weekend.

Edit button disappeared 9 days ago. Haven’t heard a peep since. Called yesterday and they said my delivery advisor hadn’t been online in a few days, he’s the only one who can tell me anything, and I don’t have a vin yet.

We’re in a similar boat, though I have a VIN and have been waiting a few days less than you. I called today and my advisor was also offline according to the rep. I wouldn’t mind so much, except I’ll be out of the county for 2 weeks next week and would like to at least schedule delivery beforehand and not give up the VIN/car. All good first world problems;)

Obviously easy for me to say now that I have a delivery date lol, but my email I got literally was saying your car is on it's way to the GTA and do you have any vacation planned for September? He advised of my tentative date and said it might be sooner if the car arrives in Toronto sooner than that. I asked if I have a VIN and he said I do but that he can't provide it yet as it often will change before delivery. Either way the email I got to the delivery date is about a month, so don't fret if you don't have the call as at least with Toronto it takes awhile for the car to actually arrive from the time you get the email anyway.

It does seem to very quite a bit. I see a few people getting a call within a day, a few waiting 6+ weeks. Most frequent seems to be within 1 to 2 weeks. But, mine disappeared and the apply for a loan info showed up 2 1/2 weeks ago, so I was figuring I was within a month or so of delivery, but still not a word. At this point, happy I decided to go with lightstream, so if nothing else, I can just put the cash in the bank while I wait, as opposed to hassling with a new application, as I dont think I'll be seeing delivery within a month of when it happened for me.

Been waiting over a month now. You may want to hold off until you know for sure when delivery is.
You’ve had the edit button/inability to modify your order for over a month? If you do cash/trade-in, the edit button disappears, but doesn’t mean your car is actually in production. If it’s been a month since you’ve been unable to modify, that’s insane!

Just got my first email from the Home Delivery specialist today, so I guess for me, 18 days from the disappear of the edit button / told to apply for financing and first actual contact. The only thing the message really said was "I'd highly recommend you pick up at a service center, not take home delivery." Somewhat ironic as I've seen some others here getting the opposite story, but guessing that all has to do with how busy service centers in the state are (or are not). So no real info showed up after that time for me beyond the name, but another step of progress!

Just noticed this morning my edit button disappeared and I’m being requested to complete financial information. I guess I’ll have to make a call to find out when I should start to apply for financing.
Ordered 7/25/18
MSM AWD
Aeros, EAP, FSD

I'm doing cash/private loan, no trade in. I configured/paid over nine weeks ago and the finalize your insurance info, etc was on July 20th which is when the link went away.
