Tiny bit of body work, guess the estimate

Have a scratch about 1" long, not wide, a barely perceptible dent on drivers door about a foot below the mirror. Not sure what happened. It's through the paint. Went to a body shop near me, won't touch it because it's a Tesla (can't scan codes to make sure everything is working when done). Went to a Tesla certified shop... figured a normal car maybe $750 repair so maybe $1250 for a Tesla... anyone want to take a guess as to the estimate at a Tesla certified body shop?

No guesses? Over $3400 to repair a 1.5” scratch. Non Tesla certified body shops here won’t touch it.

That's nuts. Any kind of mobile paintless dent repair guys out your way? Maybe smaller outfits (esp mobile that aren't driving your car anywhere) wouldn't need to scan.

Unfortunate; I paid $2000 to replace a dented right fender and repair the related scratch on the driver's door.

I think the non-Tesla certified body shops have a hard time getting parts.
