Tips for touching up small scratch in black leather? [vegan leather]

**picture to follow** Just picked up a 2018 M3 and there is a scratch in the passenger side rear seat. It is not a tear, but it looks like the black was scratched away. Does anyone have a suggestion on how to fill in the chip? I don't want to order just any black leather paint as I would hate to have a darker black spot there. I know..any black paint would look better than the white chips, but I'd love to get it as close to factory black as possible. Thanks in advance for your input!

Here are the photos of the scratch.

Thanks @dmurphy. I would love to avoid taking it to a shop for such a small touch up as I'm a pretty handy person and feel comfortable attacking this on my own. If all else fails, I guess I could find a shop to take a look.

absolutely — it should be touch-uppable (is that a word?!) but make sure you use something for vinyl, not leather. I’m not an expert in fabric repair so I unfortunately don’t have a lot to offer.

If it helps your research, this is the company Tesla uses for their seating materials … Home

Best of luck and let us know how it goes please!
