Tips on drag racing your Model S Plaid...on the track.

Good to see people drag racing teslas I’ve drag raced since 1987. Used to race at Orlando sped world and in NY at Lebanon and E town and island in NJ pretty much the whole east coast at one point or another .
Only ran the Tesla once but it only ran 10.12 at 139. W AC on probably 85 % charge I’d guess.

That’s quick for a stock car for sure but I expected quicker. It’s a model X plaid w 22s on it. Anyone else have model X plaid times ?

X Plaid should hit 9.7 with 85% or higher charge and a good track prep. Trap should be 145mph

I beat three drag cars on the strip at Willow Springs International Raceway's drags last night. 1,000-foot track, no waterbox, no prep. It's astounding how quick the Plaid really is. Light turns green, bye-bye! Maybe next time I'll give 'em the hit.
