Tire Break In

This is just a general tire question. I recall hearing that tires take about 500 miles to break in. I take delivery this Friday. Should I hold off on launches/tight cornering until after 500 miles to ensure a correct tread wear or anything like that?

No break-in period on tires. Handling improves as they wear some but no break-in period.

Tires definitely needs a break in. Do a few burn outs in front of that neighbor you never liked..
