Tire life?

Ok so I know this is a very open question but as a guide what do you expect I would get from the tires on a Performance, I am in the UK and spend most of my time on the motorway/freeway doing 60/70mph, not doing drag races off the line (well maybe occasionally lol) thanks

I’m just above wear bars on mine at 32k miles. I rotated one time at 21k. I could probably get 40k out of them but I plan on replacing at wear bars. I’m guessing 35k

Maybe, I have 18 inch wheels. Performance has 20 inch wheels. I would expect the lower profile tire to wear (% wise) much quicker. If you are getting a P3D- my experience will be pretty close to yours.

Thanks, it's the M3P so on 20s but it's still a better guide than nothing. What type of driving do you do?

I've worn my tires down to 2/32 in the rear and 4/32 in the front after 10,000 miles. Shopping for new set now.

Probably worth getting your alignment measured when you get the vehicle since Tesla doesn’t seem to do it. If they are out of spec you can have Tesla fix it. Will improve your probability of getting good miles out of the tires.

I’m probably going to get about 15k out of the 20” tires. Right now at about 6k.

AWD Model 3 -- I've got the 19" tires and have put on 31k miles in 8 months, nearly all highway driving at 70-80mph. Can also start to see the wear bars, but I should be able to make it to 40k miles before I need to replace them. Also have only done 1 tire rotation so far at 18k miles. Dual motors keep the tires wearing almost perfectly evenly which is great since there's less of a need for rotations.

Just had third tire rotation at 24k miles. Two tires have 5mm remaining and two have 6mm. All tires had the same measurement on inner, middle, and outer.

I am at 16k right now and I am shopping for a new set. I have not measured, but they look worn and I have noticed in the rain I lose grip compared to past driving experience

We have over 22000 miles on the original 18-inch MXM4s. Based on the wear so far, I'm projecting about 35000.

Performance with 20’s with 25k miles. Not at the wear bars yet and hoping to get about 30-35k miles.
