Does this work with foam insert tires?
No, and neither does the Tesla one.

If your car has tires with sound-deadening foam, you're better off carrying a tire plug kit and separate compressor that runs off the 12v port. You can get a tire plug kit at Walmart, auto parts stores, or Amazon. They range from $10 (sufficient) to $35 (deluxe). You can get a decent compressor on Amazon for around $30-$35, just make sure you check the specs that it doesn't pull more than 15 amps max or you'll trip the protection circuit on the 12v port in the car.

Tires used by Tesla all have the foam, correct? I have the A/S 21" Uber that come with the MYP.
