Tire Repair/Patch Shop in Arlington, VA?

Anyone know of a reputable tire shop in Arlington, VA where I can get a slow leak in one of my tires patched up? I’ve called around and can’t find anyone that’s familiar with working on Teslas. And I don’t feel like waiting for a month for my service appointment.

Called all my usual shops around and no ones knows or are willing to try to repair the small leak. Did you find anybody?

Quick update a NTB near my home confirm they know how to do it. Curiously another one near this one said they dont know. So maybe is best to call before hand if you have one this shop's near by.

One challenge here is the foam noise reduction lining some EV tires have. I understand that you cannot use an internal patch seal on these tires (if this is not correct, I'd appreciated expert input). This means you are limited to a plug repair.

Some shops may not be comfortable with this.

I researched a little bit. They have to cut the section where you have to pi the patch. Then replace the foam. I talk with them, and they are familiar with the process.

I swear some of the shops are using the foam as an excuse to sell you new tires. Va. Tire tried that on me in July. Matt Curry Craftsman Auto fixed the same tire.

Craftsman Auto Chantilly has my car right now with yet another flat tire I got last night. Big old bolt square in the tread. They have a shop in Alex.

We need better tires than Michelin's Sport tires, these things collect nails.

Humm, maybe they have magnets to improve grip and rolling resistance....

Here are two patches I've had done on the one tire. The bolt has been removed and patched. the simply remove the foam as shown in this shot.

Maybe some shops don't have the special equipment (utility knife) needed to cut the foam...
