I have a Model S and a Model 3. Will the Model 3 adapters work on both cars?
No each model is different as the lift points are different.
The 3 lift area is a totally different beast, Tesla said everything about the car will be different and they were telling the truth.

The S and X are close to the same but the channels are different lengths and one has a bend and slightly different circumference.

This is the S factory lift area

And this is the 3 lift area

Why can't I use the Model 3 adaptor on the Model S? Currently I use blocks of wood, so I don't think it would be worse then my current situation.
The 3 is nothing like the S/X lift point all. The S/X have a close design to each other but they are different enough to need a separate jacknpad adapter and l the 3 has a totally different factory lift area see the pics above, just because there all Tesla’s does want mean they are the same.

I took the bait. I've been using a simple towel to protect the car's jack point, but I like the idea of supporting small business, and I'm sure this will make tire rotations easier.

Thanks
