If the vehicle is needed to be lifted off the ground completely then yes one per corner is needed.

it says only for Model X, Will the above fit a model S ?
I am looking for a 2 pack in white for Model S but cant find it
Embarrassingly, I've never operated a car jack in my life, sorry for the dumb question:
Assuming you take these to the shop and have them use it, and then something were to happen, like the saddle or lift slips off and damages the car...
Would having them use these pads potentially relieve them of any liability even if it were their error?
Thinking about buying 4 of these, but was hoping to get some thoughts.
