Mmmmm BEEFY!!

I love that look. Can you post more pictures of your car. Any pros or cons to running this tire? I want the AS4's.. and trying to figure out which size to get. Stock 255/40.. or 255/45 for extra comfort.. or 265/40 for extra wheel protection & comfort. Seems the only drawback to going bigger.. is small hits to efficiency and speedometer.
The main difference is also cost... for the Pilot Sport AS/4, 255/45-20 is actually the cheapest at $272... The 265/40-20 is $431. The OEM 255/40-20 is in between at $350.

In terms of speedo, going by my DWS-06 Plus, in 255/45-20, I was expecting my speedo to be more off, but I found it to be more accurate than stock... With the OEM 255/40-20 Goodyears, when my speedo said 80, I was actually going 77. With my 255/45-20 Contis, when my speedo says 79 I'm actually going 80. At lower speeds, when my speedo said 60, I was actually going 60. (These were verified with GPS and Radar). YMMV.

Do what? If you mean stickied, that's a mod ability. I just mentioned it that way cuz the stock tires are ridiculously stretched and ppl should all know by know the right size for the 9.5 rim is 275.
Unfortunately, I didn’t know that. Never thought much aboit changing tire sizes or any mods prior to this car. So some of the lingo is foreign to me.

I certainly agree the 255/45-20 makes the most sense and is the cheapest at $272.

Still trying to decide which size to go with. Adding a data point that the 275/40-20 is $315. Significantly cheaper than the 265/40 and probably a bigger range hit.. but I imagine it looks absolutely awesome considering how beefy that 265/40 looks. Im guessing 275 is about the widest you can go and most wheel protection you put on a 9.5" wide wheel.

You could go wider but not much wider as the front upper knuckle is the limiter in this equation. That said 285 is doable and will give a meaty look, though its probably at a premium and you'll lose some sharpness on turn-in though it does look sweat.

Any potential for rubbing the wheel with any of these sizes? Also, I have heard that larger versions of some tires (CC2s) lose handling at high speeds.
The pic is of another member’s tire that I saved from another similar thread on this forum in 2021 when I was researching larger tires for my MY. As I recall, he said no rubbing or other issues with the tire size.
