Tire talk - 295/35/21?

I just placed an order on some custom wheels and I’m trying to finalize my tire size choice.

Wheel specs:
21x9 +25 front
21x10.5 +30 rear

I will go with 245/35/21 front but for the rear I’m in between 275/35 or 295/35. I would prefer to go with the 295/35 since It’s a 10.5 wide wheel. Has anyone run these specs with no rubbing?

are you in between 275/35 and 295/35 because you're going with Michelin Pilot Sport 4S?

Just an FYI, 295/35/21 will be too tall and will most likely rub due to the overall diameter, not to mention the difference in diameter between your front and rear will differ by a substantial amount. You should be looking at 295/30/21 if you want a diameter to closely match the front tire. 295/35/21 is around 29" diameter. 295/30/21 is around 28". If you have a dual motor Model S, it could potentially cause issues with traction control, etc.

You can fit 265/35/21 in the fronts on your 21x9" wheel.

Ideally, for the size of the wheels you have, you should be running 265/35/21 in the front and 285/30/21 if you go with Michelin Pilot Super Sports. (or 295/30/21 if going with Pilot Sport 4S). However, your rear width plus aggressive offset will push you pretty close to the edge of the fender. If you lower the car (with lowering brackets, links, etc), you will most definitely rub. Side note, it wont matter whether you go with the 4S or the PSS. The camber is pretty aggressive in the rear (non-adjustable) so you will be going through tires about every 8-10k miles. Since its staggered, you can't rotate them either since the Michelins are inside/outside, and not directional, flipping them is not an option either...
