Tire Tread: M+S or SUMMER USE

Question for the range experts.. I'm fairly new to Tesla.. 60-90days.. have a LR RWD M3 that I use in New England (summers) and Florida (winters) - snow birds call this 6 and 6 (6 months N 6 months S) anyway was reading about tires and noticed Tesla sells a 19" summer wheel package (which I have 19" with M+S tread) I've had just summer use tires in prior vehicles and they worked great-- I'm wondering if range is BETTER with just summer use only--?? does anyone have experience with this? I'll more than likely replace my tires down the road when they need it with just summer use.. but was curious..especially with Tesla factory and most vehicles in CA-- (from what I've noticed on the forums)

Typically summer tires are stickier therefore more grip and consequently less fuel economy.

Grade your priorities of cost, comfort, noise, longevity, grip, water performance and rolling resistance and go from there.
