After changing to 20" wheels at around 3000kms, I've now gone through 1 set of Continental DWS06 and about to wrap up on a set of Continental Contisportcontact 5p (CSC 5P) and to be replaced with a set of Toyo Proxes ST II.
The DWS06 are 4 season tires with deep grooves. OEM 21" sizes I got were staggered: 245/35/21 front, 265/35/21 rear. The DWS06 I got were 245/40/20 front and 275/40/20 rear.
The cornering grip was close enough to the OEM Michellins on the 21" Telsa wheels before (I'd say around 90%). I put about 4000kms on the OEM tires and looked like it would last maybe 12,000kms in total from the way I was driving. With the DWS06, I ended up swapping new tires after 24,000km; could probably go 26 or even 28,000 but in heavy HK rain it was starting to hydroplane if I hit water puddles at... certain speeds.

You'll notice the "S" in the Dry Wet Snow gimmick is still legible meaning supposedly it's still good for snow... but as mentioned I was starting to hydroplane....
Next set I got was Continental Contisportcontact 5P. They were the cheapest compared to Michellins and dealer was saying how Contis gets more mileage... these are rated as performance summer tires. I have now done 20,000kms on them and about to swap them out. Grip wise they were almost the same as the OEM Michellin. Comapred to the DWS06, there's less flex in the tread blocks giving a more accurate steering feel. Even though I'm swapping them out, there's no hydroplaning in the wet that I've experienced (but then again no heavy rain since the fall). But they are very close to the tread wear indicator bar (I err on the safe side with my tires...) so will put maybe another 1000-2000kms on it. Size that I got was 245/40/20 front, 285/35/20 rear (not sure if you can fit wider than 285...).

The next set I have ordered are Toyo Proxes ST 2. Proxes ST II - Sport Truck Tires - Highway Tires
I'm excited about this one as it's a truck/SUV/crossover tire vs the sedan tires I used before. With the fact that our Model Ss weigh around 6000 pounds, I thought a SUV/truck tire would give more mileage... so we shall see.... I will be cutting close to rubbing with the bigger sizes but my after market wheels have offsets that should allow me to fit the 255/40/20 front and 275/40/20 rear that I ordered. Will repost here on results end of this month or early next year.
