Hello,
I have a 2021 Tesla model Y performance. One of my tires went bad, and I need to replace it. I have Perelli 255/35R21 98W and the 275/35R21 98W in the back. Is it OK to just change the one tire or do I need to change all four? If I change all 4 I was thinking of going to Michelin pilot sport all season and the same tire size as the perellis. Thanks in advance.

How many miles did the tire go bad? If it went through half the miles, of the tire warranty. Then I would change all four. It it’s under 5k then I would change 1.

The mileage on the current set of tires matters less than the overall wear on the tires. If you've got 50% life left in the tires (about 6/32" inch), then I personally would just find an identical used tire to what you have with about the same amount of wear and buy that.

If you've got 25% left on your set of tires (4/32"), then I would replace all 4.

Personally, I think Michelin tires wear better over time than Pirellis. When new, perhaps not much difference, but near end of life I've found Michelin tires maintain better performance and ride quality. YMMV

Yes go with all season AS4.
265/40/21
295/40/21

You will have smoother ride should last 40k

Remember speedo will be off slightly due to bigger size

Thank you for your reply. I’m gonna go for the Michelin tires. The one bad tire got a bubble out the side and I’m worried the others are gonna do the same thing because Pirelli tires are easily damaged from what I was reading

Any issues getting a tire place to fit the larger/wider (than stock) tires?
My PZeros need to be changed and I'm interested in wider tires to protect the rims a little better. Any issues with rubbing?

Thx.

Cool, thanks. I wonder why the change to front is +10 whereas the rear is +20?
I.e. 255 -> 265 and 275 -> 295

Why not 275 on the front?
That I do not know but there is a full thread maybe you can find your answer I just went with the write up what he did I think it something to do with radial turninge
