Title and License in Wisconsin

Greetings, I picked up my Y recently and forgot that you cannot do in person registration at the DMV in Wisconsin.

Anyone done this recently? I am confused by what documents I need to return with the Application. I am getting a new license and title. I received the Bill of Sale and Certificate of Origin documents from Tesla. Do these all get sent back? They look so official I just want to make sure I check all the right boxes on the application and return the correct forms/documents. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Yes, just fill out MV1 as @iluvmacs mentioned. You can also do a new MV1 using the DMV link and mail the whole thing with TTL info and payment to Madison.

Did you get the bill of sale via your order page? Under documents? Mine doesn't show up there. (Picked up Tuesday, today is Friday, should I be more patient?)

You will get all by of the Paperwork that you need, in a Fedex envelope in a couple of weeks.

Today I received a letter from the Wisconsin DOT. My registration is completed and my new plates should be here in a few weeks. The odd thing is they have the MY’s chassis type listed as a truck. Anyone else from WI with this issue? Not sure if I will get truck plates now...which I think cost more than car plates.
